This is a musical whirl through the lamp-lit streets and music halls of Paris after dark featuring songs by some of the world's finest popular composers. From songs about Paris, ”Pigalle” by Aznavour, and songs that celebrate love ”Hymne a L’Amour” to songs about loss ”Ne me quitte pas” by Jacques Brel, this musical entertainment is a love letter to all things French! A romantic journey full of life, love and dreams in exciting English and Swedish translations and original French chansons. |

The Swedish actress Zarah Leander was the biggest star in the Third Reich. Her films were box-office successes beyond the German borders and her record sales made her millions. In 1943 she faced a choice that would alter her life forever. This sparkling and riveting show portrays a woman torn between artistry and politics; a woman who was both idolized and hated - and whose songs remain unforgettable to this day. |
